Purpose of Awards
To recognize individuals who have dedicated time and efforts to exemplify the values and promote the goals of the Southern Arizona Community Activists.
Eligibility:
An individual who demonstrates a high level of commitment to achieving one or more of these values and goals.
• Protecting Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid
• Protecting, expanding and improving health care
• Promoting community services that strengthen the lives of Southern Arizona citizens
• Promoting and protecting the right to vote
• Protecting the environment and natural resources
• Promoting workers' rights
