Purpose
To recognize individuals who have dedicated time and efforts to exemplify the values and promote the goals of the Southern Arizona Community Activists, Inc. Nominations accepted from organizations and individuals in all Southern Arizona Counties (Cochise, Pima, Pinal, Greenlee, Graham, Santa Cruz, and Yuma). We hope you will join us in this effort to recognize individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the Southern Arizona community.

The march starts at Pueblo HS and ends at Rudy Garcia Park. People will start gathering at 8 am, speakers 8:45 and march at 9 am.

Purpose: Camaraderie of friends and a sharing of smiles and learn more about SACA
Learn about the impact of Project 2025 on our Democracy
We’ll have sandwiches, potluck food and water. If you can join us, please bring a salad or dessert or munchies (chips, vegetables etc.) and a chair.

The Southern Arizona Community Activists is sponsoring its annual Grijalva Award Luncheon on Wednesday, August 14, 2024, 11am to 2pm, at the El Pueblo Activity Center, 101 W Irvington Rd, Tucson.
Purpose
To recognize individuals who have dedicated time and efforts to exemplify the values and promote the goals of the Southern Arizona Community Activists, Inc.
Eligibility
An individual who demonstrates a high level of commitment to achieving one or more of these values and goals.
>Protecting Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid
>Protecting, expanding, and improving health care
>Promoting community services that strengthen the lives of Southern Arizona citizens
>Promoting and protecting the right to vote
>Protecting the environment and natural resources
>Promoting workers' rights
