US Congressional Representative Raúl Grijalva

The Southern Arizona Community Activists is sponsoring its annual Grijalva Award Luncheon on Wednesday, August 14, 2024, 11am to 2pm, at the El Pueblo Activity Center, 101 W Irvington Rd, Tucson.

Purpose

To recognize individuals who have dedicated time and efforts to exemplify the values and promote the goals of the Southern Arizona Community Activists, Inc.

Eligibility

An individual who demonstrates a high level of commitment to achieving one or more of these values and goals.

    >Protecting Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid

    >Protecting, expanding, and improving health care

    >Promoting community services that strengthen the lives of Southern Arizona citizens

    >Promoting and protecting the right to vote

    >Protecting the environment and natural resources

    >Promoting workers' rights
